The company's chief editor successfully convened the review meeting for the draft of the "Engineering Technical Specification for Sulfur Recovery Heaters in Petrochemical Plants" submitted for approval.

From April 16 to 18, 2024, the Engineering Department of Sinopec Group Co., Ltd. hosted a review meeting for the draft of the industry standard "Technical Specification for Sulfur Recovery Heating Furnace Engineering in Petrochemical Industry." The meeting was organized by the Equipment Design and Technology Center Station of Sinopec and jointly sponsored by Shandong Sanwei Chemical Group Co., Ltd. Representatives from 20 organizations—including engineering companies affiliated with Sinopec, member units of CNPC and the Equipment Design and Technology Center Station, as well as manufacturers and construction firms specializing in sulfur recovery furnace linings—along with representatives from refining and chemical enterprises, attended the review session, totaling 37 participants.

Accompanied by the nourishing spring rain that brings life to all things, on the morning of April 23, Shandong Sanwei Longbang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "Sanwei Longbang"), a holding subsidiary of the Group Corporation, held the groundbreaking ceremony for its Zibo City's 2024 Major Project—the 50,000-ton-per-year iso-octanoic acid unit project under the Acetyl Cellulose Product Optimization and Upgrade Technical Renovation Initiative.
