Introduction to the Company's Engineering Business and Business Model The company was established through the restructuring of a state-owned central enterprise design institute into an engineering firm. We primarily serve clients in the chemical and petrochemical industries, while actively transforming and expanding into the new energy market. Our business excels in environmental protection, and for many years, we have been dedicated to providing customers with comprehensive, one-stop engineering services spanning the entire lifecycle—including engineering consulting, engineering design, EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction), project start-up, and post-commissioning maintenance. Today, we are the leading domestic company designing and undertaking the largest number of sulfur recovery units through EPC contracts. The company itself typically does not engage in the production of equipment and materials or construction and installation services. Instead, during its daily business operations, it outsources the equipment, materials, and construction/installation tasks required for engineering general contracting projects to qualified manufacturing and construction subcontractors—companies with appropriate qualifications and proven capabilities in manufacturing and project execution—through a competitive bidding process tailored to the specific needs of each project. II. What are the company's main products in the chemical business? And what effective measures have been taken to address the industry's cyclical fluctuations? The company is currently the largest n-propanol producer in China, a leading domestic enterprise specializing in butanol and octanol residue recovery, and a prominent n-pentanol sales company. It primarily focuses on the research and development of various advanced chemical materials, as well as certain other areas. C3、C4、C5、C8 Production and sales of alcohols (including aldehydes and acids), as well as products such as n-propyl acetate, butyl acetate cellulose, and their derivatives. The company's products are widely used across multiple industries and fields, including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, dyes, pigments, coatings, chemicals for information technology, chemical reagents and high-purity substances, food additives, feed additives, catalysts, adhesives, auxiliaries, surfactants, fragrances, and more. Compared to large, integrated enterprises in the industry, the company enjoys greater flexibility in production and operations due to the absence of specific constraints at the raw-material end. Project Status of the Coal Chemical Industry Projects Undertaken by the Company The company’s engineering business, leveraging its technological strengths, has successively undertaken the basic design and technical service project for the sulfur recovery unit in Shenhua Yulin Circular Economy Coal Comprehensive Utilization Project, as well as the second set of projects for Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. 50 Ten thousand tons / Including the process package and design project for the methanol-to-olefins project's supporting sulfur recovery unit, as well as the patent technology licensing and technical service project for the sulfur recovery unit at Shaanxi Coal Group Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd. Recently, the company successfully won the bid for the Jun Dong project of the National Energy Group. 20 Billion cubic meters / Partial equipment design and procurement services for the coal-to-natural-gas project, technology licensing and design services for the sulfur recovery unit in the Hami Energy Integration Innovation Base Project (Phase I Coal-to-Oil Engineering) of Xinjiang Hami Energy & Chemical Co., Ltd. under the China National Energy Group, as well as the sulfur recovery unit for the Shenhua Baotou Coal-to-Olefins Upgrade Demonstration Project at Guoneng Baotou Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. EPC General Contracting, Jun Dong Wucainwan, Xinjiang Shanneng Chemical Co., Ltd. 80 Ten thousand tons / Work related to several new coal-to-olefins projects, including the sourcing of sulfur recovery technology and provision of process package technical services. Meanwhile, the company has assigned dedicated personnel to closely monitor and coordinate with the progress of these coal chemical projects, leveraging its own technological and engineering strengths to actively support the growth of the coal-to-chemicals industry. 5.
