Recently, the project “Technology and Application for Sulfur Resource Recovery from Acid Gas and Ultra-Low Emission Tail Gas Purification,” jointly completed by our company and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was awarded the First Prize of the 2025 Environmental Technology Progress Award by the China Environmental Protection Industry Association (Project No.: HJJS-2025-1-12). This milestone marks a significant breakthrough for our company in promoting sustainable development within the chemical industry.
As a leading enterprise in China’s chemical industry, specializing in energy conservation, environmental protection, and high-end petrochemical engineering, our company has long been deeply engaged in the research and development of technologies for acidic gas recovery and ultra-low emission. Since 2012, we have joined forces with the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences to establish a collaborative innovation team integrating industry, academia, and research. Focusing on key scientific and engineering challenges—including the molecular activation mechanisms of acidic gases, precise control of catalytic materials, process intensification, and engineering scale-up—we have conducted systematic and in-depth research. As a result, we have developed a comprehensive technological system covering the entire process—from efficient sulfur production and tail-gas purification to advanced treatment—and have created a systematic solution for acidic gas sulfur recovery and ultra-low emission from tail gases. We have successfully achieved deep integration across “basic research breakthroughs—technological and process upgrades—demonstration projects.” The project has established a robust intellectual property system, securing numerous authorized patents and formulating several relevant technical standards. Several of our technologies and processes have been included in the National Key Practical Technologies for Environmental Protection. Our technologies have earned widespread industry recognition for their advanced technical capabilities, engineering reliability, and significant environmental benefits, truly realizing the integrated value enhancement of “resource recovery, ultra-low emissions, and optimized economic benefits.”
