The Group Company holds its 2024 First-Half Business Operation Analysis Meeting.

On September 5, 2024, the Group Corporation held its first-half business performance analysis meeting, summarizing the company’s economic operations over the past six months, assessing the current market situation, identifying existing challenges and issues, and outlining key tasks for the upcoming period. During the meeting, the Finance Center provided an analysis of the financial data for the Group Corporation and its subsidiaries, while each subsidiary presented detailed reports on their production and operational activities during the first half of the year. Qu Sixiu, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group Corporation, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. Feng Yiyuan, President of the Group Corporation, chaired the meeting and also addressed the attendees.

On August 20, 2024, the Phase I 67,000-ton-per-year sulfur recovery unit project—a polymer additive project for Lianyungang Sheng'ao Chemical Technology Co., Ltd.—undertaken by Sanwei Chemical as EPC general contractor, successfully started up on its first attempt, thanks to the joint efforts of the company’s relevant departments and all participating construction units. The sulfur production series has now yielded qualified sulfur products, with all key parameters remaining within the specified limits, delivering a satisfying result to the client.

On August 21, 2024, the Zibo Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology released the proposed lists for the "Top 100 Enterprises in Zibo 2024," "Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises in Zibo 2024," and "Top 30 Service Enterprises in Zibo 2024." Among them, Sanwei Chemical was listed on both the "Top 100 Enterprises in Zibo 2024" and the "Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises in Zibo 2024," ranking 44th and 35th, respectively.

On the morning of August 23, the Group Company's 2024 Mid-Year Work Conference was held in the sixth-floor conference room at headquarters. On the morning of August 15, the Group Company held its 2024 Mid-Year Comprehensive Safety Inspection Summary Meeting. The meeting provided a thorough review of the company's 2024 mid-year safety inspection activities and outlined the next steps for safety management. Qu Sichun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group Company, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Safety expert Gong Jianbo, Vice Chairman Sun Bo, President Feng Yiyuan, along with key leaders from each subsidiary and relevant executives, also participated. The meeting was chaired by Li Tiejun, Vice President and Chief Safety Officer of the Group Company.

On August 13, the tail gas and new flare gas hydrogen recovery project for the No. 1 C2 Recovery Unit in the Refining Department of Sinopec Tianjin Branch (hereafter referred to as "Tianjin Petrochemical"), which was wholly contracted by our company under the EPC model, was successfully put into operation on its first attempt.

At 10:00 a.m. on July 5, the groundbreaking ceremony for Sinopec Tianjin Branch's 150,000-ton-per-year sulfur recovery unit and its supporting project was held at the sulfur project construction site of the Refining Department at Tianjin Petrochemical. Attendees included representatives from Sinopec (Tianjin) Petrochemical Co., Ltd.'s Refining Department, Tianjin Shijian Engineering Construction Supervision Co., Ltd., the construction subcontractor Tianjin Jinbin Petrochemical Equipment Co., Ltd., as well as personnel from our company and other related parties.

"Acid Gas Sulfur Recovery and Tail Gas Purification Technology for Ultra-Low Emissions: Achievements and Applications" Passes the Science and Technology Achievement Evaluation by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation

On July 1, 2024, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation organized in Beijing a scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting for "Ultra-Low Emission Technology and Application for Acid Gas Sulfur Recovery and Tail Gas Purification," jointly completed by our company and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Qu Sixiu, Party Secretary and Chairman of our company, led the delegation to attend the meeting. The appraisal committee unanimously concluded that the achievement as a whole is at an internationally leading level and recommended further promoting the widespread application of this technology.
