On August 20, 2024, the Phase I 67,000-ton-per-year sulfur recovery unit project—a polymer additive project for Lianyungang Sheng'ao Chemical Technology Co., Ltd.—undertaken by Sanwei Chemical as EPC general contractor, successfully started up on its first attempt, thanks to the joint efforts of relevant company departments and all participating construction units. The sulfur production series has now yielded qualified sulfur products, with all key parameters remaining within specified limits, delivering a satisfactory outcome to the client.
During the project construction, the company fully leveraged its advantages in EPC general contracting project management. The project team meticulously organized and implemented scientific construction practices, addressing the owner's urgent needs with thoughtful considerations. They proactively conducted comprehensive technical and economic analyses as well as overall optimization of solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle. As a result, the project successfully achieved startup on the first attempt, meeting stringent requirements in safety, quality, and schedule.
As an industry "sulfur recovery expert," the company has accumulated extensive experience in the sulfur recovery business over the years. Its independently developed sulfur recovery technology—featuring no online furnace—has reached international advanced standards, and the company currently holds the domestic record for designing and providing general contracting services for the largest number of sulfur recovery units. The successful first startup of this project further enhances the company's track record in sulfur recovery, enabling us to continuously build on our project construction expertise, refine our technological capabilities, and deliver even higher-quality services to our clients.
