With the rapid development of Chinese industry, the problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious. Among them, the amount of sulfur dioxide discharged into the atmosphere is large, it can form acid fog and acid rain. This will cause serious harm to human and the environment, and is one of the most important air pollutants. Starting from the sustainable development strategy, China has increased the intensity of environmental protection. The environmental protection standards and regulations are increasingly strict, the control and governance of sulfur dioxide p pollution to the environment is an important content. GB31570-2015 "Pollutant Emission Standards for Petroleum Refining Industry" issued in April 2015 put forward stricter requirements for emission l limits of flue gas SO2 concentration of sulfur recovery units, among which the general area requires less than 400mg/Nm3, and key areas require less than 100mg/Nm3. Therefore, it t is urgent to consider the important work to increase the processing capacity of sulfuric acid containing gas, improve the recovery rate of sulfur, and make the exhaust emissions of the device reach the standard.

The company actively responds to the upgrading policy of national environmental protection industry, and has developed multi-functional coupling process technology of sulfur recovery and tail gas treatment. According to different raw gas, plant scale and customer needs, the company chooses appropriate coupling process technology route of sulfur recovery and tail gas purification, and overall optimizes the unit processes of sulfur recovery, hydro reduction and absorption and tail gas purification. To ensure that the emission index of the sulfur recovery unit is better than the most stringent, special area limit in the standard specification. And at the same time, it can eliminate the traditional redundant equipment and structures, and take into account the investment and operation cost to achieve the best balance and optimization. The key technology of this project is SWSR-1 sulfur recovery device and process, namely: no on-line furnace sulfur recovery + ion liquid circulation absorption tail gas treatment. It has obtained the national invention patent authorization, and has been in Yantai Wanhua contract to build an industrial unit, byproduct SO2 content: ≥99.5%; SWSR-2 process, using NaOH solution as absorber, absorption of SO2 in flue gas through acid-base neutralization reaction, Na2SO4 solution produced sent to the sewage treatment plant for treatment, the technology has been successfully applied and put into production in Sinopec Qingdao Refining and Chemical, Zhongjie Petrochemical and other sets of sulfur recovery equipment; SWSR-3 process, namely no on-line furnace sulfur recovery + liquid phase sulfur oxidization recovery combined process technology, can ensure that the mixed product sulfur meet the national standard of first-class requirements. The above technology can ensure the purification of exhaust emissions SO2<50mg/Nm3, NOx<50mg/Nm3, particulate <20mg/Nm3, H2S<5PPM, effluent water quality, including COD, etc.: COD<50mg/l, SS(suspended matter)<20mg/l, pH≈7, N-NH3=0, total nitrogen <80mg/l.

 

The company has carried out 29 research and development projects in the past four years, including 1 major science and technology innovation project in Shandong Province, 1 Zibo Talent Plan project, and 1 Linzi Talent Plan project. Juxiang Jing, the technical leader of the scientific research team, as the chief engineer and senior engineer of the company, led the completion of "Yantai Wanhua PO/AE integration project LPG refining and butane isomerization unit" and other projects won the awards of Sinopec Group, Shandong Province and Survey and Design Association. Ju Gao, the technical leader of the enterprise technology center, is the deputy chief engineer and senior engineer of the company. He has 7 invention patents, such as high temperature mixing valve, SWSR-6 sulfur recovery process and device, and 4 utility model patents, such as internal floating ball type sulfur seal leg. He Led the completion of more than 10 projects such as "The 1# Sulfur Recovery Unit Safety Update Project of Sinopec Qilu Branch", which have won awards from Sinopec Group, Shandong Province and National Consulting Association. In April 2014, he was selected as the third batch of young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions in Linzi District.

 

Tiejun Li, the technical leader of the scientific research team, is the deputy general manager and senior engineer of the company. He has 5 invention patents, such as sulfur recovery and tail gas treatment unit clean shutdown technology, sulfur recovery tail gas liquid phase treatment technology, etc. He has published more than ten papers; The research and development of “New technology of Reducing sulfur recovery plant SO2 emission" won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress award of Sinopec ec; He was invited to Sinopec Group Company for many times to give lectures on sulfur recovery advanced training class, and participated in the compilation of "Sulfur Recovery Technology Progress and Application" among refining process technology advanced training textbook series.

 

The technical leader of the scientific research team, Zhiling He, is the deputy chief engineer and engineering technology application researcher of the company. He owns 3 utility model patents such as multi-functional tail gas incinerator of sulfur recovery unit, and is the core author of 3 proprietary technologies, such as the application of rubber film sealed dry gas cabinet in the petrochemical industry, sulfur recovery of no on-line furnace and tail gas treatment process technology. He has published more than ten papers; Editor-in-chief of petrochemical industry standard SH/T3158-2009 "Petrochemical shell and tube Type waste heat Boiler", participated in the review of SH/T3416 "Petrochemical casing Crystallizer" and other standards; He has b been invited to give lectures on the advanced training course of sulfur recovery in Sinopec Group for many times, and participated in the compilation of “Progress and Application of Sulfur Recovery Technology" in the advanced training textbook series of refining process technology.

 

The technical leader of the scientific research team, Tianyi Wu, is the deputy chief engineer of the company's automatic control specialty and the researcher of engineering technology application. He has published more than 40 papers. He is the technical committee member of the National Automatic Control Design Technology Center of Chemical Industry, and the editorial board member of the magazines of Petrochemical Automation and Instrument Intelligence. He participated in the audit of more than a dozen automatic control design specifications, such as Engineering Design Specification for Decentralized Control System (HG/T 20573 - 2012), which was presided over by National Instrumentation Design Technology Center.
