Dushanzi Petrochemical Facility Operates at Full Capacity, Fully Ensuring Fuel Supply

In recent days, Dushanzi Petrochemical Company has actively implemented epidemic prevention and control measures, strengthening management and monitoring at production sites and critical areas to ensure a steady supply of medical-grade materials and sufficient oil products for the market. On February 1, employees at the Dushanzi Refinery's Control Center were seen wearing masks as they disinfected office equipment on-site. Guo Qiang, Deputy Director of the Hydrocracking Unit at the refinery, explained: "To maintain high-capacity production of essential chemical products like raw materials for mask manufacturing at the ethylene plant, our 2-million-ton-per-year hydrocracking unit has been operating steadily at a load of 210 tons per hour. Through optimized adjustments, it’s now supplying 90 tons of hydrotreated residual oil per hour to the ethylene production unit. Meanwhile, aviation fuel and diesel supplies remain fully adequate to meet demand."

　　Under the influence of severe cold weather and epidemic prevention measures, the volume of transportation for production and daily-life supplies has increased, leading to heightened market demand for high-octane gasoline and -35 low-pour-point diesel fuel. To mitigate the impact of epidemic control on production and sales fluctuations, Dushihua Petrochemical Company promptly implemented effective measures, optimized production processes, and successfully fulfilled its tasks in producing and distributing refined oil products, ensuring seamless coordination between production and sales to the greatest extent possible.

　　It is reported that the 10-million-ton distillation unit in the No. 1 Combined Workshop of the Yizheng Petrochemical Company's refinery is currently utilizing the world-leading "vacuum deep extraction" technology, vigorously producing high-end petroleum products such as No. -35 low-pour-point diesel, thereby providing a reliable supply of raw materials to meet market demand. Meanwhile, the refinery's Storage and Transportation Combined Workshop promptly blends various oil products and strengthens management of the vehicle loading/unloading gantry and railway loading/unloading platforms, ensuring "zero operational errors and zero equipment leaks" in tank areas and hazardous chemical handling zones, thus guaranteeing that 100% of the outgoing products meet quality standards.

　　Dushihua's raw materials enter the plant, production processes, and product shipments are all carried out in an orderly and well-managed manner, with safety firmly under control. As of now, the company has produced and sold 90,000 tons of gasoline, 200,000 tons of diesel, and 18,000 tons of aviation kerosene, ensuring a stable supply to the fuel market.
