The company is dedicated to the development and application of technologies in petrochemicals, coal chemicals, new energy, and advanced materials, boasting a high level of design expertise and capabilities. Over the years, the company has successfully completed the design or general contracting for more than 500 projects, including atmospheric and vacuum distillation units, catalytic cracking units, hydrofining units, asphalt plants, coking units, gas fractionation units, catalyst plants, sulfur recovery units, methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) plants, lubricant oil facilities, as well as hydrogen energy, energy storage, and solar-thermal projects. In the current context, where the nation is promoting energy conservation, emission reduction, and increasingly stringent environmental regulations, SUNWAY Chemical’s strengths have been further highlighted, enabling remarkable achievements in areas such as sulfur recovery, fuel upgrading, desulfurization and denitrification, wastewater treatment, and flue gas management.

The company boasts distinctive expertise in the storage and transportation of crude oil, refined petroleum products, LNG, as well as in long-distance pipelines and rubber-membrane gas holders. It has successfully completed oil storage, transportation, and utility projects for refineries with capacities exceeding 10 million tons per year. Notably, the company’s independently developed ZYJS2014-040SR design technology for rubber-membrane sealed dry-type gas holders tailored specifically for the petrochemical industry fills a significant gap in the market. Additionally, the company’s patented invention—ZL200920031186.1, a flotation scum treatment device designed for refining enterprises—has provided an effective solution for handling scum at wastewater treatment facilities. Several of the company’s projects have even earned prestigious awards, including the China Petrochemical Corporation Excellence Award and the Shandong Province Excellent Design Award.
