On April 13, the Group Corporation successfully held its 2024 Development Seminar at the Qingdao Garden Hotel. Over 50 participants attended the meeting, including senior executives and board members of the Group Corporation, industry experts, seasoned professionals, key partners, top managers from various subsidiaries, and mid-level managers from the Group Corporation itself. Attendees engaged in an in-depth analysis of both internal and external environmental changes, as well as emerging industry trends. They also thoroughly discussed and debated critical topics such as the company's future direction for innovative growth, strategies to strengthen and extend the industrial chain, and ways to effectively implement the "Going Global" initiative. Participants shared valuable insights and recommendations aimed at shaping the company's future development. Qu Sixiu, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group Corporation, attended the seminar and delivered a concluding speech.
A signing ceremony was held prior to the meeting for the 2024 Work Target Responsibility Agreements and the Safety Commitment Letters from each subsidiary company.

Following this, the heads of each subsidiary presented updates on the production and operations of their respective business segments, focusing closely on the Group’s and each subsidiary’s future strategic positioning and annual objectives. They also shared insights tailored to their own unique characteristics, strengths, and challenges, while offering recommendations from the perspective of the group company—on how to effectively support the subsidiaries’ growth and, ultimately, drive the Group toward high-quality, sustainable development.

In his speech, Feng Yiyuan, President of the Group Company, emphasized that over the past decade and a half since the company went public, it has delivered high-quality benefits to society. He stressed the need to break through challenges and navigate economic cycles amid the ongoing transformation of China's economic structure and growth models. To achieve this, the company must proactively explore a three-dimensional strategic path—leveraging engineering expertise to drive real-sector businesses overseas. Engineering companies should innovate by rethinking their production and organizational models, forming "entrepreneurial teams" centered around "projects" or "specialized disciplines." By adopting innovative approaches such as "virtual equity" and "project-based profit-sharing," these teams can further enhance their enthusiasm for developing new business opportunities and foster a stronger sense of responsibility in driving tangible value creation. As the core link bridging upstream and downstream operations, the engineering division plays a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of the chemical industry. This is crucial not only for unlocking synergies among the company’s internal resources but also for more effectively integrating external resources internally—a move of significant strategic importance. Meanwhile, the real-sector business unit must stay ahead in applying cutting-edge "carbonyl synthesis" technologies, rigorously evaluating emerging product categories. Additionally, the company should leverage its entire factory assets as a comprehensive package, collaborating closely with upstream and downstream enterprises to pursue "integrated" partnership models.

This was a meeting marked by open-mindedness, vibrant exchanges of ideas, and a true brainstorming session. Experts from various industries celebrated the remarkable achievements that 3D Chemical has made over the past two decades—since its transformation until today. Drawing from their respective fields, they engaged in a lively discussion, sharing insights and strategies on how the group and its subsidiaries can drive technological innovation, optimize capital operations, extend their industrial chains, and successfully implement their "go-global" expansion strategy. Participants offered perspectives from multiple angles, enriching the dialogue with diverse viewpoints.

Qu Dong expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the attending experts and friends for their support, assistance, and care toward 3D Company. He highly praised the constructive suggestions and insights shared by everyone during the meeting. Qu Dong noted that since its restructuring in 2004, 3D Company has undergone tremendous transformation—from a small design institute to a publicly listed company—thanks to the company’s well-planned development strategy. On December 15, 2023, the Group Corporation successfully completed the establishment of its organizational structure, marking the official launch of its group-based operational model. Moving forward, the Group Corporation will steadfastly pursue its vision of "standardizing corporate governance, centralizing strategic management, rejuvenating the management team, differentiating technological products, platformizing marketing efforts, and internationalizing corporate growth," while deepening its core business and advancing steadily. Qu Dong emphasized that 3D Chemical must remain committed to its global expansion strategy, thoroughly researching the feasibility of implementing this strategy in Central Asia and Southeast Asia. In recent years, the company has achieved high-quality growth by staying true to its principles while embracing innovation and adapting to market trends. Drawing from specific examples, Qu Dong elaborated on the critical importance of four key principles—innovative thinking, platform-based approaches, collaborative sharing, and digital transformation—for the Group Corporation’s future development. He urged the team to optimize existing operations, refine processes, extend industry chains to unlock new growth opportunities, stay focused on the core business, proactively manage risks, and continuously drive innovation, ultimately paving the way for a brighter future for the Group Corporation!
