On July 29, 2025, the mechanical completion ceremony for the sulfur recovery unit, acidic water stripping unit, and solvent regeneration unit of the Huajin Amoco Fine Chemicals and Raw Materials Project—whose EPC general contracting was undertaken by our company—was solemnly held at the project site.
Huang Zuxi, Vice President of Huajin Amoco Petrochemical Co., Ltd.; Xin Dongfeng, Head of the Engineering Department; Wu Yong, Director of Shengli Supervision; He Hanwei, Project Management Director of Sinopec Fourth Company and Manager of First Company; Shi Hansheng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sinochem Second Construction Third Company—among others—attended the ceremony. The ceremony was chaired by Lei Jun, Project Manager of Refinery Unit Four at Huajin Amoco Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Hao Wenliang, Vice President of the company and General Manager of the Engineering Company, along with Nie Tao, Deputy General Manager of the Engineering Company, led all members of the on-site project team to participate in the ceremony. As Vice President Huang Zuxi announced the “official mechanical completion of the plant,” it marked a significant milestone in the project’s construction and underscored our company’s strong capabilities in the EPC general contracting of large-scale refining and petrochemical projects.
In his speech, Mr. Hao first expressed gratitude to the leaders at all levels, partners, participating construction units, and the builders who have tirelessly worked on the front lines for their long-term care and support of the project’s construction. Mr. Hao stated that, as the EPC general contractor for the project, the company has consistently adhered to the principles of “meticulous management and relentless pursuit of excellence” since the project’s commencement. By coordinating and integrating resources from all parties, we persevered day and night for 584 days, delivering an outstanding performance and efficiently achieving all key milestone targets. Throughout the project’s advancement, our company took the client’s needs as our guiding principle and worked closely with participating units such as Shengli Supervision, Sinopec Fourth Company, and Sinochem Second Construction, forging a united and coordinated effort characterized by shared goals and synchronized actions. Faced with numerous challenges—including a tight project schedule, stringent requirements for equipment lifting accuracy, and intensive concurrent operations—our Huajin-Aramco Sulphur Recovery Project Team fully demonstrated its spirit of tackling tough tasks and achieving victory through collaboration. We worked overtime, cooperated wholeheartedly, and leveraged the management advantages inherent in our EPC general contracting projects. Upholding the philosophy of “meticulous management” at every stage, we ensured that the project continued to advance efficiently toward its established objectives.
Mechanical completion is not the end for the project—it’s a new starting point for the final sprint. General Manager Hao emphasized that, taking this mechanical completion as an opportunity, the company will continue to deepen cooperation with all participating parties, delivering on-time and high-quality services with an attitude of relentless pursuit of excellence, thereby repaying the owner’s trust and expectations and making every effort to achieve the goal of fully handing over the facility by the end of October.
On July 30, Huajin Amoy held a rally at the Liaodong Bay Convention Center to launch the final sprint phase of the Fine Chemicals and Raw Materials Project’s labor competition and to recognize outstanding teams and individuals who distinguished themselves during the installation攻坚 phase. Our company was recognized as an outstanding team and received a prize of 3.63 million yuan. This recognition not only underscores the high esteem in which our company is held but also serves as a powerful incentive for the project team to keep pushing forward with even greater determination.
